Rental of our overland Jeeps: These vehicles are equipped with all the necessities for an overnight camping expedition or more; a spacious rooftop tent, comfortable seating inside and outside of the vehicle, off-road suspension for reliable flex on any terrain or surface. Amenities include a portable toilet, privacy shelters, and solar panel energy for efficiency during long expeditions or in remote locations. There is a drawer storage system that includes basic camping equipment and cooking equipment. A refrigerator and a Skottle to cook on are also onboard. These features allow you to pick up and leave for your trip – you bring food and clothes. As for safety, the Jeeps have a Garmin InReach communication and SOS device, fire extinguisher, and First-Aid Kit. Also, Terra Overland can be reached via cell phone or satellite at any time.

Off-Road Training: Master essential off-road driving skills, including 4-wheel high (4WH) and 4-wheel low (4WLO) modes, approach, breakover, and departure angles.
Guided Convoy: Participate in a guided convoy of two Jeeps to your pre-planned trailhead, where the adventure begins.
‘Tent to Tires’ Training: Learn everything from tire deflation to campsite selection, and explore the Jeep’s features, including a built-in kitchen, refrigerator, roof-top tent, awning and more.
Independent Exploration: Enjoy hours of self-guided exploration, putting your skills to the test while experiencing the thrill of off-roading and camping in the wilderness.

Bring your own 4×4 vehicle, side by side, atv, dirt bike and join us for an hour or two or hang out for a day filled with adrenaline, camaraderie, and adventure with our 4×4 Park Day Pass! This pass is perfect for every 4×4 enthusiast.
With our Re-Entry Day Pass, you gain full access to the park, with obstacles and challenges for all levels it’s a true playground for your 4×4, akin to a skatepark.
Choose your line, make your move, and feel the adrenaline surge as you and your 4×4 take on each obstacle.
Conveniently located on Route 33 in McGaheysville VA, our park is an ideal escape from the everyday grind. Whether you’re a seasoned off-roader seeking new challenges, or a beginner eager to break new ground.

While walk-ins are welcome when we are open, we highly recommend making a reservation in advance for the 4×4 park. Our park has a limited capacity to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, and spots fill up quickly. By booking in advance, you secure your spot to explore and enjoy the thrilling terrains without the worry of missing out. Your adventure awaits, and we want to ensure it’s as seamless and memorable as possible. Reserve your spot now and embark on the 4×4 adventure you’ve been dreaming of!
The 4×4 Park is open from “Noon to Dusk.” While we aim to be open on weekends, please refer to the calendar above for the most up-to-date information on our operating days. Unforeseen circumstances may affect our schedule, so checking the calendar ensures you have the most current information.
To guarantee your spot, we encourage making a reservation at least 24 hours in advance. However, drive-ins are always welcome! Join us on Saturdays and Sundays from Noon to Dusk for an exhilarating 4×4 adventure. Your off-road journey awaits!
Children under the age of 18 are welcome in the 4×4 park but must be accompanied by an adult at all times for their safety and security. While in the park, children are required to remain inside the 4×4 vehicle. If there is a need for a child to exit the vehicle, they must be accompanied by a Terra Overland Park Spotter or parent. This policy ensures the safety and well-being of all young adventurers in the park, providing parents and guardians with peace of mind while enjoying the thrilling experiences our 4×4 park has to offer. Your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines is crucial in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone in the park.
