DIRT ALERT!
We are excited to invite you to join us on Sunday, April 23rd for “Torrent Trek”, an exclusive overlanding adventure to explore some of the most sought-after waterfalls in the Shenandoah Valley.
Please note: This trip is limited to five rigs!
On this month’s excursion, we’ll explore the following three stunning waterfalls, each with its own unique features and history:

Apple Orchard Falls
Located in the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest, Apple Orchard Falls is a picturesque spot and popular hiking destination. The 200-foot waterfall cascades down a series of rock ledges, offering stunning views for visitors. The trail to the falls is a moderate 3.5-mile round trip, with several small waterfalls and stream crossings along the way.

Lace Falls at Natural Bridge State Park
A unique waterfall that flows over a natural bridge; a geological formation that spans 90 feet and towers 215 feet above Cedar Creek. The trail to Lace Falls is a moderate 2-mile round trip, with a total elevation gain of around 300 feet. Natural Bridge State Park also offers several other natural wonders to explore, including the namesake natural bridge and a cavern system.

Roaring Run Furnace and Falls
Located in the Roaring Run Recreation Area, which is part of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest. The hike to the falls is a moderate 3.4-mile round trip, with a total elevation gain of around 800 feet. As you approach the falls, you’ll hear the sound of water rushing over the rocks. The waterfall itself is a breathtaking sight, with water cascading down a series of rocky ledges into a pool below. The area around the falls is also home to the ruins of an old iron furnace, which was used in the 19th century to produce pig iron.
In addition to overlanding to these three stunning waterfalls, we’ll also have some free time at each location where you can relax and unwind if you don’t feel like hiking. You can simply hang out and tailgate with your fellow adventurers. Our experienced guides will be available to help you plan your time and make the most of your trip.
Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to experience the beauty and diversity of the Shenandoah Valley’s waterfalls on The “Torrent Trek”. We can’t wait to see you there!
